Aqua Chalcedony is actually a special variety of microcrystalline quartz. It is characterized by its beautiful translucent blue color, which can vary from very light to more intense tones, and which is caused by the presence of small amounts of iron and titanium impurities.
But beyond the chemical properties or even the metaphysical meaning given to it, which says that it promotes inner balance or harmony, what we like about Aqua Chalcedony is its way of reflecting light.
Since we started designing, light has always been our main focus, the one that we try to never lose sight of.
And for that reason we try to work with natural stones that move away from light opacity.
And this is where almost everyone falls in love with Aqua Calcedonia: because of the way the sun passes through the piece, which ends up acquiring that sky-blue tone; by how it reflects hair or skin tone; because of how it changes when used in summer or winter.
