In 2022 we met Julia at a Rata Market , which is an event organized by a bookstore in Mallorca.
Julia exhibited her collages and we exhibited our jewelry designs. And in the dead hours we talk, we talk a lot. She had just arrived in Mallorca with the dream of setting up a store, but also a workshop, but also a kind of “safe space” for designers and artists. Something like a “home” in which they could do exhibitions, sales, interact with others, meet the public.
No financial guru would have approved his business plan (if he had one), because there was no room in it for concepts such as product margins, market analysis or sales strategy.
Nor would anyone in their right mind have encouraged her to continue with her project. They told him that it would wipe out his savings, that it would consume his time, that he could find a job, who knows, in a town hall, taking part in something, devoting himself to the hospitality industry.
But, we imagine, that about Julia is what they call “the inner voice”, which must be nothing other than the deep certainty that everything will turn out well.
And from that flame is where Estiu Concept Store emerges, in the heart of the city of Palma.
And that's why we couldn't choose another place for our first Ephemeral Store
We will have an hour of live music with Groovert (Mallorca Live Fest, Sa Fonda), free Rosa Blanca beer and Begudes Puig , who accompany us on this path supporting local art and revitalizing the city, we will present new designs and, also, we will have many discounts on bags and jewelry.
